Lots of snow is a very special and sometimes exciting experience!

Dear guests!
In the past, it has happened more and more often that the electricity has failed due to heavy snowfall or storm damage. These are not short interruptions, but longer outages that can last for several days. When the time comes and the power is out, it is known to be quite "hectic" at first. We have therefore taken precautions and provided you with the most important information in advance, just in case.

We have an emergency power generator and this will be put into operation as soon as possible. Please note, however, that it makes a big difference whether you get the power from the power station or from a generator!

• If the power cut is due to predicted bad weather, everything has already been prepared and it won't be long before the generator can be put into operation.
  If the power cut was not foreseeable, please be patient. Work will be carried out as quickly as possible.
  
  

• We cannot run the genset around the clock. We will switch it on in the morning until around midday and then again in the late afternoon until the early evening. We will let you know the exact times when the time comes.
  
  

• Unfortunately, you can never say in advance exactly how long such situations will last. We therefore ask you to use everything very sparingly and limit yourselves to the bare essentials. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the view, put your feet up and relax - after all, you are on your well-deserved vacation.
  
  

• The service bell will probably not work - if you need anything, please do not hesitate to go to the private area. We will probably keep the fire doors closed so that we don't lose too much heat.
  
  

• The heating will be switched on again and again, but of course it will not be as warm as you are used to. It will be the same with the hot water, it will be heated up again and again, but the energy will not be enough to fill the boiler all the time. Please use the heating and hot water sparingly.
  
  

• To avoid damage to the elevator, it will be switched off during the power cut - we ask for your understanding.

  If the power cut is due to heavy snowfall, we ask you to pay attention to the avalanche situation. Please take the situation seriously and talk to us beforehand if it is possible to stay outside. If you want to get rid of your energy - we have enough snow shovels 😊
  
  

• We will provide you with flashlights and an electric candle for your room. If possible, please do not light any real candles or at least do not leave them unattended!
  
  Now we very much hope that we will never need this chapter of the information folder. If we do, then keep calm, wait and make the best of it. We'll manage!
