You can check in between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Please check out between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Check out later than 10.00 is not possible in our house.

Yes of course. Our parking lot is right next to the house. There is also a wallbox where you can charge your electric car for a fee.

Ski
The ski bus stops directly behind our house where the road to Großdorf begins. You can find the timetable on the notice board at reception. If you need an earlier bus, please let us know the day before!
Yes, of course, the valley station of the Grossglockner Resort Kals-Matrei can be easily reached on foot in 10 minutes. Many of our guests therefore rent a storage locker at Sport Gratz oder Sport Michl (can be done online) so that they can walk to ski area comfortably and flexibly in their street shoes.
public transportation
The nearest bus stops are in Großdorf and Burg – both are about a 10-minute walk from our farm. All guests can use the Postbus free of charge.
You can find the bus timetable at www.vvt.at PLEASE NOTE: at certain times, the bus only goes as far as Großdorf. We therefore recommend that you enter “Kals-Großdorf” as your destination.
The nearest train station is in Lienz. Some train connections from Germany to us end in Kitzbühel. From Kitzbühel, you can then continue to us by Postbus.
restaurants
There are five restaurants in our town where you can go out to eat. A few restaurants are within easy walking distance, about 10 minutes on foot, or can be reached in max. 10 minutes by car.
In our region, inns are not open all year round. Most of them are open from the beginning of December to Easter and from the end of May to mid-October.
cooking facilities
Yes, we have a communal kitchen in the breakfast room, which can be used by everyone from noon onwards.
There is a large refrigerator on the second floor in the hallway that can be used by all guests.
supermarkets
Yes! We have a supermarket. It is a 10-minute walk away. There is also a small self-service farm shop and a delicatessen in a hotel.
laundry service
We offer a laundry service. This means that we wash, dry, and iron our guests' laundry for an additional fee.

All of our rooms have a balcony with a panoramic view.
The guest rooms are all located on the 2nd and 3rd floors and are easily accessible by elevator.

Yes, of course, during the winter months when the animals are in their stalls, you are welcome to visit them in the evening during stall time. In summer, the animals are fed once a week. There you can get really close to the animals.

We have cows, calves, cats, pigs, rabbits, and chickens at home. PLEASE NOTE: We are a farm, not a petting zoo. We practice sustainable circular economy, so it is quite possible that animals, such as pigs, have just been slaughtered and there are no new piglets on the farm yet.
